Slikao sam Peđu na kursu za nove doping kontrolore. On svakako nije novi doping kontrolor, jer sam s njim uradio neke od prvih kontrola, još pre 17 godina. U svakom slučaju život je hteo da se nakon pauze ponovo vrati dopingu, što je većina nas želela. Portret pišem sa malim zakašnjenjem jer tempo kojim živimo često ne dozvoljava da se posvetimo svemu, pa često ni ne primetimo da nemamo dovoljno vremena za drage nam ljude. Inače u međuvremenu smo uradili i doping kontrolu na Svetskom prvenstvu u atletici, pa je Peđa imao priliku da se vidi ponovo sa starim doping kontrolorima, onako kako to i treba da bude. Činjenica da su mu svi obradovali govori da ono što smo stvarali ima smisla i da ljudi ne rade neki posao samo posla radi već i zbog druženja i interesovanja za određenu oblast. A što se tiče Peđi sasvim je prirodno da radi u antidopingu, jer je vrstan laboratorijski tehničar, zbog čega je dugo godina bio predsednik njihove asocijacije.  Mala pauza koju je napravio bila je više potrebna da se sabere, vidi šta je sve postigao i odluči kako će dalje. Definitivno nam je drago što smo i mi de njegovih budućih planova, jer kako često volim da kažem Srbija je suviše mala da bi se odricala svojih najboljih  profesionalaca.

I photographed Pedja on a course for new doping control officers. He is not a new doping control officer because I did some of the first controls with him 17 years ago. However, life wanted him to return to doping after the break, which most of us wanted. I write the portrait with a bit of delay because the tempo at which we live often does not allow us to dedicate ourselves to everything, so we often do not even notice that we do not have enough time for our friends. In the meantime, we did a doping control at the World Athletics Championships, so Pedja had the opportunity to see the old doping control officers again, as it should be. The fact that everyone made him happy shows that what we created makes sense and that people do some work not only for work but also for socializing and interest in a specific field. As for Pedja, it is quite natural for him to work in antidoping because he is a good laboratory technician, so he was the president of their association for many years. The short break he took was necessary to gather himself, see what he had achieved, and decide how to proceed. We are glad that we are also part of his plans because, as I often like to say, Serbia is too small to give up its professionals.
