Slobodno podelite dalje. Znanje dobija punu vrednost tek kada se deli.

Some books are worth sharing precisely because the knowledge they contain should be available to as many people as possible.
We received this book from Professor Costantino Balestra, one of the leading international authorities in diving physiology and diving medicine, who kindly gave us permission to share it free of charge with anyone interested.
The book, Notions de physiopathologie utiles à l’encadrement du handisport, explores the physiological and medical aspects of including people with different types of disabilities in sport — from neurological and genetic conditions, visual and hearing impairments, to spinal cord injuries, amputations, and other conditions.
Particular attention is given to sports performed in demanding environments, especially scuba diving.
For me, this book also has a very personal meaning.
It brings me back to the story of diving for people with disabilities, to the film we made some years ago, and above all to my friend and diving instructor Branislav “Miša” Živojnović (1956–2021).
Miša was one of those people who did not spend much time talking about limits — he was far more interested in finding ways to move them.
I would therefore be very happy if this book reaches divers, instructors, physicians, physiotherapists, teachers, people with disabilities, and everyone who believes that sport can be much more than results and competition.
📘 The book is in French and is available for free download.
